A week off from League Football meant a chance for The Bec Reserves to enjoy the wonders of the Cup rather than chase #3Points. And gave The New Management a chance to enjoy their first taste of Cup Football at The Bec and hopefully get off to a flying start and enjoy a Cup Run. Unfortunally the Cup Run didn't last long.

The 1st Half started well for The Bec as they went in at Half time 1-0 to the good.
While it was a game of two halves the first half belonged to The Bec, with they used most of the possession to take advantage in the 1st half with a goal from Tevin Campbell, thats now 4 goals in 4 matches for the Striker. The goal came with a great cross by Chase Wotherspoon from the right handside to find Tevin Campbell at the back post who just guided the ball in to the far top corner of the goal with a lovely header. The Bec never really put Forest Green's goal under to much pressure with an more clear cut chances but controled the first half enought to take the lead into the second half.

The Second half started slowly for The Boys in Pink & Black and the Men from Forest Green took the early advantage in the 1st five minutes when a corner wasn't clear from The Bec's six yard box and was converted by someone in Lime Green. With most of the Boys in Pink & Bec who didn't come out of hiding in the second half it was left for the Men in Lime Green to find another goal and take the match to 2-1 and take a step closer to the second round of The London Cup.
The Bec were chasing the game for most of the second half but couldn't find the back of the net. Which has left them seeking Cup Glory for another day and another Cup as they crash out of The London Cup in the 1st Round. #CupDreamOver #OnToTheNextOne #LeagueMoreImportant
